Sales and Use Tax Premium Online Services
Sales and Use Tax Online Filing (SALES) allows you to file state and local sales and use tax via the Internet.
When you sign up for the Sales and Use Tax Online Filing service, you will also gain access to The Sales Tax Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) service. The Sales Tax EDI service allows you to send Sales and Use Tax Return files electronically to the Tennessee Department of Revenue.
There are no annual fees or transaction fees associated with SALES or EDI.

Signing Up
Before you can use a Sales and Use Tax premium service, you must obtain a username and password. This will allow you to protect the privacy of the information you provide.
To obtain the username and password, click on the link below and create a TN.gov account. You will self assign one master administrator username and password. This will be the person who can make changes to the account and will designate who can file the returns. Normally, this is the person who files your tax returns. Once you have completed the self assigned username and password process, print out your service agreement and either mail or fax the agreement to the address or fax number provided on the agreement.
Create username/password and complete service agreement.
You are now ready to file. To file your return, go to the Online Sales and Use Tax E-filing section on our Web site.
