Marriage
Minimum Age
Parental consent is required for people under 18 years old to marry. A birth certificate may be necessary to show proof of age.
Marriage License
Marriage licenses are issued by County Clerks. The license is valid for 30 days, and no blood test or physical is required.
License Fees
The license fee ranges from $93.50 - $98.50. Couples who attend a Premarital Preparation course can get $60 off their fee if they also submit a signed Certificate of Completion PDF.
Waiting Periods
There is no waiting period. If the requirements are met, the license can be issued at that time, and the marriage can take place immediately following.
