e-Health Network

Tennessee is at the forefront of delivering better health care by utilizing information technology. The Tennessee e-Health Network makes it possible for health care providers to safely and securely manage and share patient data.

The Tennessee e-Health Network is available to any health care provider in any of Tennessee's 95 counties.

Health care providers can access numerous available e-health resources on the Tennessee eHealth Network, such as:

  1. Secure file exchange and messaging
  2. Single sign-on identity management
  3. Access to Tennessee Department of Health registries for immunization and domestic violent records (launching January 2009)

Through the Office of e-Health's Physician Connectivity Grants, approved providers are eligible for free Internet connectivity to access the Tennessee eHealth Network. Providers can apply for a grant at ehealth.state.tn.us/BeginApplication.aspx.
