Dr. David R. Reagan, Carespark RHIO, Chairman of the Board; James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Chief of Staff
Dr. Reagan completed residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt and fellowship in Clinical Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Iowa. He moved to Johnson City in 1990 as Assistant Professor of Medicine with the East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Quillen College of Medicine and Chief of Infectious Diseases at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (VAMC). He practiced in Infectious Diseases at Johnson City Medical Center, the VA, and Bristol Regional Medical Center as well as overseeing hospital epidemiology at the VAMC. He served as principal clinical advocate for implementation of the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) at the VAMC, and on the VA national CPRS Clinical Workgroup. He currently serves as Chief of Staff at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center and as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at ETSU. He also serves on several advisory committees with the Department of Veterans Affairs at the MidSouth Network and VA Central Office, in areas of ambulatory care, patient education, electronic health records, and process improvement.
