As a realtor and small business person, a wife and mother, and an actively engaged citizen, Ms. Parker has garnered a combination of experience that makes her a perfect representative of the consumer community. With a background in political science and policy development (MA from American University in Washington, DC) , professional expertise in running a small business and an awareness of the health care system borne of the adventures of three boys she brings a variety of consumer perspectives to this endeavor that will constantly challenge implementation of informatics solutions to meet the real needs of the companies and families that the technology is ultimately intended to serve.
