Robert Steven Gordon, Mid-South eHealth Alliance, Former Chairman of the Board; Baptist Memorial Health Care, Executive Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer
Mr. Gordon has served as executive vice president of Baptist Memorial Health Care since 1994 and was named chief administrative officer in 1998. He is responsible for overseeing critical support areas, such as information systems, human resources, strategic planning, corporate communications and the legal department. Gordon created Baptist Health Services Group, a provider-owned network that has grown to include more than 2,900 physicians, 49 hospitals and 160 affiliated outpatient facilities that serve the Mid-South. Gordon has served two consecutive terms as chairman of the Tennessee Hospital Association. In 2001, he received THA's Distinguished Service Award.
