Why am I being told that I am not eligible for renewal because staff processing is required?
This message appears because the renewal is considered pending until reviewed by office staff. If all requirements have been met, your license will be renewed within two business days. After receiving this message you may click "Continue" to proceed with the renewal questions and payment.
Why does my payment confirmation say that I must meet outstanding requirements to complete my license renewal?
This message does not necessarily mean that the license will not be renewed. If all requirements have been met, office staff will issue the license within two business days. Registrants will be notified if any outstanding deficiencies need to be addressed.
How early can I renew my license?
2 1/2 months before the license expires.
How much time do you allow licensees in expired status to still renew with a late fee?
6 months.
How much is the late fee?
$10.00 per month up to 6 months.
What happens after the licensee has exceeded the grace period to renew?
Registration becomes invalid and licensee must re-apply.
